This creates high toner range, unrivaled by either pencil portrait or graphite portrait paintings. After completion, the portrait drawings are sprayed with a layer of fixative. Pencil sketches are created with unique cross-hash techniques.

The standard size for black and white charcoal portrait is approximately A2, a single subject portrait is slightly bigger than life size.
